The mission of Trancare is to improve people's lives by connecting eligible individuals with efficient transportation in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties.

                                               What is Trancare?
Trancare is a non-profit organization that provides non-emergency transportation to and from medical appointments for people who receive a Medicaid ID card covered by DSHS (Department of Social and Health Services) HRSA (Health Recovery Services Administration) under the specific medical program. We provide transportation to the closest provider in your community that offers the type of service that is being requested. We are unable to transport to appointments that are not covered under the ID card.

We also provide Brokered Spoken Language Interpreter Services in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties.  Brokered Interpreter Services are available for medical facilities and DSHS agencies within our service area.

We are governed by the following members of our board of directors:

Kathy Miller            Alan Ashmore             Roy Henson             Shelly Peterson

We have been in the Wenatchee Valley 36 years. We were formerly Apple Valley Senior Services. Through the years, our name and services have changed. You may remember us as Translink.  We have built Trancare, providing Medicaid transportation for the three counties we serve (Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan).  We utilize buses, fuel, cabs, volunteers, planes, trains, etc. We do our best to get our clients to their needed medical appointments. We also assist with lodging if it is requested by your physican for out of area appointments.
